ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - The Minnesota State Patrol is asking anyone who witnessed a fatal crash in Richmond last weekend to give them a call.

The state patrol says a tractor truck was going east on Highway 23 when it struck a minivan that was north on County Road 71 and crossing over Highway 23.

The crash happened at 2:34 Saturday afternoon.

Three people were in the minivan, all from Cold Spring.

23-year-old Joseph Walz suffered a non life-threatening injury and was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

1-year-old Colton Walz suffered a life-threatening injury and later died at North Memorial Medical Center.

A 3-year-old girl was not injured.

The driver of the tractor truck, 61-year-old Jeffrey Ditlefsen, of Sartell, was not injured.

The state patrol is working to determine who had the green light.
