Patrol releases name of accident victim

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The Minnesota State Patrol has released the name of an Eau Claire, Wisconsin man critically injured in a rear-end accident on Interstate 94 in Stearns County.
Thirty three year-old J.J. Bertrang was eastbound at milepost 142 between Freeport and Albany when he was rear-ended by a semi.
The patrol says Bertrang was driving slowly in icy conditions when the accident happened a little before two o'clock Monday morning.
Bertrang was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with critical injuries.
The semi was driven by 31 year-old Scotty Vanwagner of Wyoming, Minnesota. He was not injured.
