Stearns Parks and trails being discussed

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The Stearns County Board of Commissioners meets today to consider changes to its existing parks and trails ordinance.

A few major changes are being proposed. One would allow horseback riding on the Dairyland Trail and in Rockville County Park. It would also allow the county to have controlled hunts in a county park, and would make alcohol regulations in parks more consistent.

A public hearing on the proposed changes will be held at ten o'clock this morning in the county board room of the Administration Center in downtown St. Cloud.
