ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Our January thaw is over.
Thirty-five degree temperatures are being replaced by much colder air across central Minnesota.
The National Weather Service says today's temperatures will fall to around 7 degrees by late afternoon.
We'll drop to around five below zero tonight, and will struggle to get to zero on Thursday.
Thursday night's low in the St. Cloud area is forecast to drop to 22 below with wind chill values around 35 below.
Temperatures should moderate into the 20's this weekend.
The normal high and low for St. Cloud in late January is 23 and 2.
