ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation has temporarily closed the ramp from Opportunity Drive to westbound I-94 as of Wednesday afternoon.

The ramp has been shut down due to forecasted heavy snow. MnDOT says it will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, April 15, weather permitting.

After Monday, the ramp will go back to its regular schedule, closing from 2 p.m. Thursdays to 5 a.m. Mondays through July as crews resurface I-94 between Clearwater and St. Cloud.

Drivers will be directed along a posted detour following County Road 75 to St. Augusta, then back to I-94.

For more information on the I-94 Clearwater to St. Cloud resurfacing project, including scheduled ramp and lane closures, traffic forecasts and real-time traffic cams, visit MnDOT online.
