BROOTEN, Minn. (KNSI) - One teen was unhurt and another only suffered minor injuries after missing an entrance to a parking lot with their car and landing in a ditch.
Officers from the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, along with Brooten Ambulance and Fire, were called to the area of RJ's Mini Mart on Sunday just before 10 p.m.
They say 17 year-old Marissa Quade of Brooten was parked across the street from the store before crossing Hwy 55 to enter the parking lot. Quade missed the entrance and instead drove into a steep ditch on the driveway's east side.
Quade was taken to the Glenwood Hospital with what officials call non life-threatening injuries.
Her passenger, 15 year-old Brooten resident Marisa Jacobson, was released to a guardian without injury.
