BLACKDUCK, Minn. (AP) - Authorities in northern Minnesota have arrested a student for allegedly making a threat.
Beltrami County Sheriff Phil Hodapp says his office and Blackduck police were called Wednesday to
Blackduck High School about a threat made by a juvenile student.
Hodapp says the student suggested to witnesses they shouldn't come to school because the student planned to attack people at the school.
School officials contacted law enforcement as soon as they became aware of the threat. Police immediately arrested the student.
Authorities believe the arrest resolved any potential danger to students in the school district.
