LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (KNSI) The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says a man found on a minimum maintenance road near the town of Harding this summer died of natural causes, and foul play is not involved.
Deputies found the body of 75 year-old Thomas Burkard lying on the road, deceased on June 23rd. His vehicle was later found stuck some distance away.
Sheriff Michel Wetzel says says Burkard's body was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office, which issued its ruling of a natural causes death last Thursday.
Wetzel says, "several people were interviewed in regard to this incident, and we simply wanted to let those in the neighborhood know that no foul play was involved in Burkard's death."
