SARTELL, Minn. (KNSI) The Minnesota D-O-T says the new diverging diamond interchange that's being built at the intersection of Highway 15 and Stearns County Road 120 in Sartell will be open for traffic on October 21st.
MnDOT project engineer Tim Paul says because it's the first-of-its-kind intersection in this region, two state troopers will be stationed at the intersection the first couple of days after it opens to make sure everyone is getting through safely and properly.
It's a $10-million project. Paul says it's still to be determined if there will be a ribbon-cutting to mark the completion of that project.
