ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Fundraising in Minnesota's Sixth District congressional race is ramping up in the final weeks before Election Day.
Democrat Jim Graves' campaign announced Monday Graves had raised a million dollars in the third quarter of the year--his best fundraising stretch since entering the race. More than one-fourth of that money was donated to the campaign by Graves himself.
Republican incumbent Michele Bachmann raised a whopping 4.5 million dollars during the quarter, giving her a decided financial edge.
Meanwhile, a new poll released Monday by KSTP Television showed Bachmann with a nine point lead over Graves--50-percent to 41-percent, with nine-percent of respondents undecided.
Election Day is three weeks from today.
