ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - St. Cloud picked up a much-needed shot of rain Wednesday. Just under a half-inch of rain, 46-hundreths of an inch, fell at the St. Cloud Airport, bringing the monthly total to one-point-34 inches.

St. Cloud is still running about two-thirds of an inch below normal for July rainfall, and precipitation is about two-and-a-half inches below average since the beginning of June.

With sunshine expected over the next two days, St. Cloud's next chance at precipitation could come Saturday.
