ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - St. Cloud came within just a few degrees of  a record high temperature on Labor Day.

The high temp at the airport reached 91 degrees, just five degrees shy of the record high of 96 degrees in 1929. Forecasters are calling for a cooling trend this week. Highs will be in the low 80's today, the low to mid 70's by tomorrow, and the upper 60's by the end of the work week.

Our normal high for the first week of September is 75, with a normal low of 52.
