TODD COUNTY, Minn. (KNSI) - Authorities have released the name of a man killed in a one-vehicle crash in rural Staples on Tuesday.

23 year-old Mark Michel of Browerville died when he was ejected from the truck after it rolled in a hayfield.

Michel was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash happened just before 5 a.m. The 2005 Chevy pickup truck in question was driven by 27 year-old Dale Czechowicz.

Czechowicz and the two other passengers, 21 year-old Theresa Goltz of Marshall, and 21 year-old Brianne Hove of Staples, received non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities say alcohol appeared to be a contributing factor.
