MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KNSI) An interesting weather streak is being set today in the Twin Cities.
It was exactly four years ago today that the Twin Cities had a daytime high that was below zero.
The high temp on January 15, 2009 was six below zero.
Since then, everyday daytime high temperature at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has been above zero. That would be 1,461 consecutive days.
That streak could be broken next week. Long range forecast models show highs in central Minnesota struggling to get above zero next Monday.
