MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KNSI) The former owner and operator of a golf course in Motley has pleaded guilty to federal charges of income tax evasion.

Roger Martin Pedley pleaded guilty to four counts of tax evasion before Judge Michael Davis on Monday.

In his plea agreement, Pedley admitted owning and operating the Pine Ridge Golf Course as well as engaging in other business ventures, and not reporting income on his personal tax returns for the years 2006 to 2009.

He faces up to five years in prison on each count. His sentencing date has not been set.
