ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The National Weather Service has posted a Winter Weather Advisory for the St. Cloud area from 3 pm Sunday through 3 am Monday.

Snow will begin in western Minnesota Sunday afternoon and spread southeast.

The snow will be widespread between 6 pm and midnight, and especially along and south of Interstate 94.

Snow will taper off late Sunday night and should provide snow covered and slippery roads into the early Monday morning commute.

Snow totals are expected to be between 2 and 4 inches, with local amounts of up to 5 inches possible.
