ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A full week into spring, but winter is still making its presence felt in Minnesota.
Rain is expected in the southern half of the state Thursday, and will mix with and change over to snow by Thursday afternoon. Heavy snow is possible across central Minnesota in the mid to late afternoon hours before tapering off after sunset.
Snowfall rates could be an inch per hour between 2 and 6 pm, and total snow amounts of 3 to 4 inches are expected.
The St. Cloud area is in a Winter Weather Advisory from noon until 10 pm Thursday.
