ST. PAUL, Minn. (KNSI) The Minnesota DNR is holding a Monday morning news conference to unveil the new critical habitat license plate as part of their "Call of the Moose Minnesota" partnership with wildlife artist Les Kouba.
Money generated through sales of the license plate will be used for reseach efforts to better understand why moose numbers have been declining in Minnesota.
DNR Commissioner Tom Landwehr will be among those on hand for Monday's announcement at 11:00 am at the DNR's Central Office in St. Paul.
