MONTICELLO, Minn. (KNSI) A Monticello man who caused a crash while fleeing from police following an armed robbery in Big Lake faces charged in both Sherburne and Wright Counties following Monday's crash.

Fourty seven year-old Kevin Greene is charged in Wright County with fleeing police and criminal vehicle operation causing great bodily harm. He's charged in Sherburne County with aggravated robbery and terroristic threats. Greene robbed a pull tab employee of nearly $500  from Tootsie's Tavern.

Officers chased after Greene, who ran a red light and Broadway Avenue and Wright County Road 18. He crashed into a car carrying 28 year-old Travis Kolles of Monticello and his one year-old son Layton. Both are hospitalized in critical condition at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Greene is being held in the Wright County Jail.
