COLD SPRING, Minn. (KNSI) A moment of silence will be observed by students and staff at Rocori High School Tuesday--to mark the 10 year anniversary of a deadly school shooting that left two students dead and a third in prison.
Seth Bartell and Aaron Rollins were shot and killed on September 24, 2003. Ninth grader John Jason McLaughlin shot the students and was sentenced to life in prison.
Superintendent Scott Staska says today's recognition of the events will be low key--at the request of the families--and then they'll move on with the school day.
