ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) State officials running Minnesota's new health insurance exchange are unveiling details of a marketing campaign to raise its public profile.
The online exchange known as MNsure is key to enactment of President Barack Obama's health-care law in Minnesota. Officials running MNsure are holding a Sunday news conference in St. Paul to talk about publicizing it as it prepares to go live this fall.
MNsure is an online insurance marketplace meant to help the uninsured and others compare and shop for health insurance. People below certain income levels will be eligible for federal assistance to get coverage. Supporters say they expect it to cover about 300,000 uninsured Minnesotans.
People and businesses who are already covered may be able to obtain higher quality insurance through MNsure.
