ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The new chancellor of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system is set to lay out his priorities for system and its more than 430,000 students.
Chancellor Steven Rosenstone is scheduled to outline his goals and his plans for reaching them during a speech to the MnSCU trustees at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Paul.
He has said that he wants to improve the quality of each of the system's 31 schools, and particularly raise the profile of the system's four-year universities among high school seniors who are college shopping.
Rosenstone took over Aug. 1 after spending 15 years at the University of Minnesota.
