ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation is holding an open house June 19th on the Highway 15 diverging diamond interchange project.
MnDOT says representatives will be available to answer questions about the project, and listen to concerns from area residents and businesses.
According to the project website A Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) allows two directions of traffic to temporarily cross to the left side of the road. A DDI moves high volumes of traffic through an intersection without increasing the number of lanes. This movement provides easier access to a busy divided highway.
This is the final open house in a series of meetings that have taken place on this project. The open house is at the MnDOT headquarters building on 12th Street North in St. Cloud on June 19th from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.
