ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - The St. Cloud Metropolitan Transit Commission has received one-million dollars from the Minnesota Department of Transportation to purchase an empty building at 700 St. Germain Street.
The commission will renovate the building and use it as a training and outreach center for Metro Bus.
A community development block grant of 75 thousand dollars will also help cover the cost of the renovation which carries a total price tag of one-and-a-quarter million dollars. The facility should be open by July of next year.
