ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing man.

Investigators say Matthew Joseph Deets, 31, last had contact with his family on March 1st, and was last seen March 2nd on Xavis Street in Coon Rapids.

A Facebook post from the mother of one of Deets' children says he was last seen on March 1st and 2nd in the Zimmerman/Elk River area.

His family hasn't heard from him since and he's missed a few of his children's birthdays, which is highly unusual.

Family and authorities are concerned for his welfare.

Deets is about six feet tall and weighs around 260 pounds.

He has several tattoos.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office at 763-765-3511.
