Minnesotans split on Affordable Care Act

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesota voters polled on the federal health care law are split on whether it should stay in place or be repealed.
 
A Star Tribune poll shows 46 percent of likely voters support keeping the Affordable Care Act, while 47 percent believe the law should be rescinded. About one in five voters polled cited health care as the most important issue in determining their vote for president.
 
The split on the health care law falls mainly along partisan lines. More than eight out of 10 Democrats say the law should stand, while nine of 10 Republicans back presidential candidate Mitt Romney's pledge to repeal it.
 
The poll (http://tinyurl.com/cajkucu) of 800 likely voters was conducted Sept. 17-19 and has an error margin of 3.5 percentage points.
