Minnesota teen wrapped in blanket struck and killed

NORWOOD YOUNG AMERICA, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota State Patrol says a teenager was struck and killed on a Carver County highway after wrapping himself in a dark blanket and lying down on the road before sunrise.
KSTP-TV says the patrol says the 17-year-old boy was killed by a semi about 7 a.m. Thursday on eastbound Highway 212 in Norwood Young America. Authorities say the teen was a local boy.
The 55-year-old truck driver from Gibbon, Minn., was not injured.
