ST. PAUL, Minn (KNSI) The Fourth of July is typically Minnesota's deadliest day of the year when it comes to highway fatalities--but that was not the case this year.
According to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Office of Traffic Safety, there were no fatalities reported this Independence Day.
The three previous July 4th holidays claimed a total of 15 lives.
There have been 147 traffic deaths in Minnesota so far this year, compared with 136 at this time in 2011.
