Minnesota man arrested in overdose death

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (AP) - A Fergus Falls man is under arrest in the overdose death of a 23-year-old man.

The Otter Tail County sheriff's office says the 27-year-old man was arrested Monday on suspicion of third-degree murder. He was arrested at the Otter Tail County jail where he was being held on unrelated charges.

Tom Rasmusson was found dead in his car parked in a driveway on Aug. 10. An autopsy found Rasmusson had overdosed on illegal drugs including methamphetamines and heroin.

An investigation found that the suspect helped Rasmusson obtain the drugs.

The Daily Journal of Fergus Falls reports the case is still under investigation.
