GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. (KNSI) Two separate traffic stops have landed a Grand Rapids couple in jail on meth charges.
Itasca County sheriff's deputies first pulled over Travis Furman for a routine traffic violation on Sunday, and found $15,000 worth of meth, a semi-automatic handgun, a rifle, and more than $2,000 in cash in his car.
He is charged with felony possession and driving under the influence.
That same day his wife Sulamita Furman was pulled over, also for a driving infraction, and police say she was also high on meth and the couple's three children were in the car.
She is charged with driving under the influence of drugs, child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance.
