KERKHOVEN, Minn. (KNSI) The Swift County Sheriff's Office says two men have been arrested after a shooting in Kerkhoven.

Officers responded to a call Sunday afternoon on a report that a man had been shot in the face with a BB gun. The victim suffered a BB-sized hole in his forehead and had been hit on the head with the butt of the gun by one of the suspects.

Authorities arrested one man--20 year-old Juan Dominguez--at the scene. The second suspect fled on foot, but was later captured. He's identified as 21 year-old Jose Dominguez Junior. Both are from Kerkhoven.

As a result of the assault investigation, officers obtained a search warrant at the suspect's residence. That's where they found several guns, cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Both suspects appeared in court Tuesday and are charged with multiple counts of assault and drug possession and illegal possession of firearms.
