ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) -- A memorial service has been set to honor the foreign exchange student killed in a plane crash in Sauk Rapids Friday.
St. Cloud Mayor, Dave Kleis, said the service for 16 year-old Alexander Voigt is set for Wednesday, June 25th from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The River's Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud.
Voigt was hosted by the Mayor's family as part of a foreign exchange program and was set to leave for home Wednesday. Voigt's family will be in attendance at the memorial.
Voigt, and Kleis' friend Scott Olson, 60 years-old were killed when their plane crashed into a home in Sauk Rapids late Friday night.
