ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - A fourth generation member of the Coborn's family has announced that he's retiring from the grocery store company.
Executive Vice President Mark Coborn says he'll step down in the next few weeks from his day-to-day role with the company that bears his family name. Coborn will retain his position on the board of directors for Coborns Incorporated.
Coborn began his career in the family business back in 1975, by cleaning the parking lot of the Coborn's store in Sauk Rapids. Since then, he's moved up the company ladder into his current role as executive vice president.
The company has not named a successor for Coborn's role, but say business operations will continue as normal.
