MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Tickets for Paul McCartney's summer concert at Target Field are sold out.

The remaining tickets for McCartney's Aug. 2 "Out There" tour stop sold out within 20 minutes of going on sale to the general public Monday.

There were three presale opportunities last week — for American Express cardholders, Minnesota Twins season-ticket holders and another through paulmccartney.com.

Twins officials say fans who didn't get tickets are being asked to check back on the team's website in case a limited number of seats are released by the promoter.

McCartney's most recent Twin Cities appearance was in 2005 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The concert comes almost 50 years after the Beatles made their only Minnesota appearance, at Metropolitan Stadium in 1965.
