ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - You can watch the tip off of the first round of March Madness on Thursday, enjoy a free lunch and support a great cause.
"March Baby Madness" is a benefit to support the March of Dimes, which raises money for babies born with birth defects or born prematurely.
The fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse in Waite Park will have free lunch from 11:00-2:00 pm, and will the have the first round games on all of their TVs.
You can try your hand at picking the winner of the 64 team tournament in a bracket challenge or shoot some hoops for hope.
Donations at the event will help families of premature babies pay for medical costs.
The March of Dimes says average medical expenses for a premature baby are $54,194, compared to $4,389 in medical costs for a healthy baby.
