ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - A man was arrested after allegedly refusing to let a plane land on a Stearns County lake.

On June 8 the Stearns County Sheriff's Office received a call from the pilot of a float plane saying he was being prevented from landing on Watab Lake by someone on a pontoon.

As deputies were responding, the plane was finally able to land and the pilot and boater got into an argument in the middle of the lake.

Eventually the boater left the lake and got into a vehicle and drove off.

The vehicle the man was driving was located on 320th Street in St. Joseph Township.

A deputy says he saw a man in the vehicle who appeared to be drunk.

The man was identified as 39-year-old Courtney Zack.

Zack was taken to the Stearns County Jail on charges of 3rd degree DWI - test refusal, and interference with a seaplane, according to the sheriff's office.

Investigators say this isn't the first time Zack and the pilot have gotten into an argument.
