LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (KNSI) - A Minneapolis man has been sentenced to more than 11 years in prison after being convicted of selling the heroin which killed a 19-year-old Little Falls woman.
30 year-old Keon Mangun was convicted of third-degree murder Oct. 30.
On Monday, District Court Judge Conrad Freeburg sentenced him to 134 months in prison, with 71 days credit for time served.
He also owes about $20,000 in restitution.
Mangun was found guilty of selling heroin to Brandon Bedford in north Minneapolis in 2012. Bedford then provided it to Miranda Gosiak.
19-year-old Gosiak died of a heroin overdose Feb. 28, 2012.
Bedford has a pretrial hearing set for Jan. 15 in Little Falls.
