Man injured in accidental shooting

GLENCOE, Minn. (KNSI) A Waconia man has been injured in an accidental shooting.

The McLeod County Sheriff's Office says 35 year-old Jeremy Tholen was putting a Ruger Single Six handgun into his holster when the gun accidentally discharged and he was struck in the foot.

It happened Friday night south of Lester Prairie.

Tholen was taken to Ridgeview Hospital in Waconia to be treated for his injuries.

Sheriff's deputies from Carver and McLeod counties investigated.
