GETTY TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KNSI) - A Melrose man was taken to the hospital after becoming trapped inside a rolled tractor. 

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says the incident happened on Thursday just before 8:30 a.m. at the Vogt Dairy Farm in Getty Township.

59 year-old Randy Pieper was driving the tractor up a steep hay pile incline when it rolled onto its side, leaving Pieper trapped inside the enclosed cab.

He was taken to the Sauk Centre Hospital with yet unknown injuries.

Along with Stearns County, Pieper was assisted by Sauk Centre Police, the Minnesota State Patrol, Sauk Centre Fire Department and Sauk Centre Ambulance.

The rollover is being investigated by the Stearns County Sheriff's Department.
