ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud police say a pedestrian was injured Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle.
Sergeant Jason Burke says it happened just before 8 pm .
Twenty five year-old Robert James Baker was walking southbound across Minnesota Highway 23 at Lincoln Avenue when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle.
Based on statements from witnesses at the scene, Baker was crossing the highway on a red light, and the vehicle had a green light.
Baker sustained severe, but non life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital Emergency Room.
Burke says there are no charges pending against the driver of the vehicle.
St. Cloud police were assisted at the scene by the State Patrol.
