MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A 26-year-old Farmington man has died after being struck on a Minneapolis freeway ramp on Christmas Day.
According to the State Patrol, a 48-year-old Blaine man was driving in the Interstate 94 ramp's right lane about 10:15 p.m. when he saw Adam Davis walking in his lane.
The driver tried to swerve into the other lane to avoid Davis, but he was unsuccessful.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports Davis was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center but he died Monday night.
The State Patrol says alcohol was not a factor. The incident remains under investigation.
