Man dies in car-pedestrian accident

ASKOV, Minn. (KNSI) A man has died in a car-pedestrian accident in Pine County.
The State Patrol says it happened just before 8:30 Sunday night on Highway 23 just east of Interstate 35.
Seventy one year-old Delwayne Hahn of Stanchfield was driving a car westbound on Highway 23 when he struck the pedestrian, identified as 23 year-old Ryan Lockart of St. Paul.
Lockart was taken to Essential Health Hospital in Duluth where he was pronounced dead.
The patrol says the highway was icy at the time of the accident.
