CLARISSA, Minn. (KNSI) - A Browerville man is in jail following a drug store break-in early this morning in Clarissa.

The Todd County Sheriff says they received an intrusion alert from the Clarissa Drug Store a little after 6 a.m.

At the same time, deputies say they received a tip from a witness who spotted a person leaving the business.

When police arrived, they found the front door shattered and various kinds of prescription medications missing.

Officers were also able to locate the suspect, 20 year-old Christopher Stone of Browerville, in a nearby residence.

He's currently awaiting formal charges at the Todd County Jail.
