ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSK) A man was arrested this morning on charges of second-degree assault in St. Cloud.

Police Sergeant Jason Burke says the arrest stemmed from an altercation in the Park and Shop parking lot in the 600-block of First Street South.

During the fight, 26 year-old Aniekan Udia from St. Cloud is alleged to have cut 24 year-old Pedro Patino of Waite Park on the arm with a sharp object.

Patino was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital E-R for treatment. Udia was arrested near Second Street South and 37th Avenue in St. Cloud.

Burke says officers found a razor blade-type knife near the area where the altercation occured. Udia was booked into the Stearns County Jail and the case has been sent to the Stearns County Attorney's Office for charges.
