LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (KNSI) – A suspect is under arrest facing possible murder and arson charges in connection with the shooting death of a Little Falls man early Monday, according to Little Falls police.
Investigators with the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Hutchinson Police Department located and arrested 36-year-old Jason Ray Dominguez without incident at his Hutchinson home Monday evening.
Little Falls police officers arriving at a Lindberg Drive Northwest home early Monday found the house entryway on fire and Dustin Joseph Brown, 30, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Brown was transported to St. Gabriel's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead short time later.
Investigators believe Dominguez set the blaze in attempt to destroy the crime scene.
He was held Tuesday at the Morrison County Jail and was expected to be arraigned Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.
Little Falls Police Chief Greg Schirmers said investigators believe they have a clear understanding of what happened and were not looking for any additional suspects in the case.
