ST. AUGUSTA, Minn. (KNSI) - A South Haven man is behind bars, facing felony DWI charges, after being busted with alcohol while driving without a license.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says they stopped to assist 46 year-old Kenneth Hoffman on Wednesday just before 1:00 a.m. on County Road 7 in St. Augusta after they witnessed him having what appeared to be vehicle problems.

After speaking with him, deputies noticed Hoffman appeared to be intoxicated.

They also noted several open containers of alcohol, and determined that his driver's license was in fact cancelled due to 5 preevious DWI convictions.

Hoffman was arrested on charges of 1st Degree Felony DWI, Driving After Revocation - Inimical to Public Safety, and Open Container.

He's currently in the Stearns County Jail.
