ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - It looks like we'll see lower humidity levels Thursday after a steamy day on Wednesday.
Redwood Falls hit 96 degrees, and in New Ulm, the heat index, a combination of heat and humidity, hit 111 degrees. In Mankto, the heat index topped out at 108.
St. Cloud's high temperature Wednesady reached 89 degrees, and the airport saw a trace of precipitation. Temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 80's to near 90 again today and tomorrow. It could be hotter.
Our record high for June 28th in St. Cloud is 102 degrees--a record that has stood since 1931.
