ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A fire that may have been caused by a lightning strike has damaged a St. Cloud school building.

The fire was reported a little after 11:30 Saturday night at the Roosevelt Early Childhood Center on Third Street North. There was thunderstorm activity in the St. Cloud area at the time.

Fire departments from across the greater St. Cloud area chipped in with mutual aid to fight the fire, including departments from Waite Park, Sartell and Sauk Rapids.

There have been no reports of injuries, and crews remained on the scene Sunday morning, as a light rain continued to fall in St. Cloud.
