ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) After being opened up for the Memorial Day weekend, look for lane closures to resume Tuesday in the construction zone on Interstate 94 between St. Cloud and Clearwater.

Starting at 9 am, I-94 will be reduced to a single lane in each direction. Two way, head-to-head traffic will shift to the new eastbound lanes while crews construct new westbound lanes. Traffic speeds in the construction zone will be 60 miles per hour.

Also, motorists will encounter delays and a detour on Highway 27 near the Mississippi River in Little Falls starting Tuesday. The highway will be closed as crews make repairs to the BNSF railroad crossing just west of the river. The highway is scheduled to re-open by 7pm Thursday. Until then, detour signs will be in place.
