Kimball girl, 14, hurt in crash near Maine Prairie Township

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - A 14-year-old Kimball girl was injured when a Hutchinson woman lost control of the car the two were in and rolled the vehicle Saturday morning, a Stearns County Sheriffs spokesman said.

Ashley Smith, 35, of Hutchinson was behind the wheel when her 1997 Buick went out of control and flipped on 135th Street in Maine Prairie Township around 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner said.

Smith was travelling eastbound when she told investigators she lost control of the car on a gravel road.

Smith's passenger Abagale Stodtman, 14, of Kimball was injured. She was transported for medical treatment by her parent.
